When prompted to run off to Ireland for a couple weeks, I simply couldn't say no to that sort of spontaneous adventure. My wife and I held down home base in Maynooth with her folks, just outside Dublin, and jaunted all over the country with the family. From the historic Galway prison and crumbling castles by the sea, to the lively streets of downtown Dublin and the Guinness Pub open til 3. From wild horses in a secret meadow and geometric rock formations, to rich cultural history and personal pride. We still talk fondly of Ireland today, recounting our favorite memories.
