Jamaica is a land of beauty, pride, and love. Poverty was rampant, but the positivity of mind seemed outweigh the state of body. This prevailing attitude of "Jah People" was both surprising and inspiring to me. From the picturesque white sand beaches of Ocho Rios, to the gritty little secluded mountain village of Nine Mile—birth place of Bob Marley—my trips to the island have humbled me beyond belief. My experiences in Jamaica are well preserved in photographs, and have even sparked a new artistic interest in traditional painting.
