KELLOGG'S SITE NAVIGATION

Solution

A key design principle stated that certain parts of the letterforms in the logo should be magnified and used as elements in artwork layouts. This adds a unique and identifiable flair to any brand communication. With that in mind, my approach was to use the logo itself as a dynamic navigation menu. So when the certain hot spots are clicked or tapped, you zoom in on that category to learn more. Using the logo as an integral discovery mechanism helped to align and support the fresh new identity to be rolled out nationwide, as well as keeping users engaged longer.

Challenge

After a recent brand identity renovation, Kellogg's had to translate the newly established design principles and visual aesthetic onto their consumer website. Bring it out of the dark ages, and make it engaging for all visitors.
