Solution
Working in 3 dimensions is always a delight for me, and this opportunity was such a collaborative learning experience. Working as part of a larger team of about 8 designers, one of my designs eventually beat out the rest to get produced and featured in every bar and tap house across America. Through a dozen rounds of brainstorming, sketching, and prototyping, we ended up with a sleek design that commanded attention, while also incorporating other desirable brand attributes. Along with the silver brand execution, I also developed a custom regional execution for the Pacific states in the form of a surfboard.
Challenge
Physical presence at the tap is paramount real estate for any beer brand in the booming market landscape. Coors Light needs to refresh its image to be colder, cleaner, and more modern than ever before. Explore shape, material, weight, and ergonomics to support the brand story on-premise.
